I travel through this roundabout twice a day going north on A483 in the morning and south in the evening

In the morning queues are sometimes back to the 50mph limit, the entrance to the roundabout is to narrow to take two vehicles if a heavy lorry s involved.

In the evening the traffic going south doesn't really know which lane(s) to use with the result I have been cut up many times with traffic turning onto the A483 from the centre lane of the roundabout which at that point is for Oswestry.

An even bigger concern is that lorries coming South on A5/A483 heading from Shrewsbury cannot keep to their lanes and cross into the middle of the centre lane. The result is that traffic in the centre lane is in danger of being squeezed between the them and anything in the outer lane.

I have a formal complaint raised with the highways agency about this. As many will know, turning right from Oswestry to the A483 is now very dangerous due to the hatched lines. Take those out and it all works.

The HA have apparently been concerned enough to take another look at rush hour.

Maesbury Road is safer and that is saying something.

awaiting response. Excuse anonymity due to insecure webpage.
