Since the Cross Guns in Pant closed last autumn, dedicated volunteers have organised a number of Pop-Up Pub events to offer a social alternative to the pub.
The events take place in Pant Memorial Hall and offer locals a space to get together and socialise. There’s no entrance fee but organisers are grateful for any donation or contribution to the costs of putting on the events.
Currently, the Pop-Up Pubs are being organised on a ‘Bring your own’ basis meaning everyone can enjoy their favourite tipple, whether mocktail or scrumpy! Organisers have also used the events to raise vital funds for local organisations and charities.
