Season’s Greetings 2015

We would like to wish all visitors to Pant.Today all the very best over the Christmas period.

Christmas PantWe have enjoyed bringing you some stories about Pant and the surrounding area and we are always on the look out for information that we can cover on the website that may be of interest to people who live, work or visit Pant.

The area around Pant, whether North Shropshire or Mid Wales is such an interesting area with hundreds of local communities, businesses and charities organising events and we have listed many of these events on Pant.Today. It would certainly be great if readers could let us know of any other events that they know of in 2016.

Pant Autumn Bazaar which was held in Pant Memorial Hall for the first time last October was one event we were especially pleased to promote and we will certainly be helping support it again in 2016.

Wishing you a very happy New Year.

Season’s Greetings from Pant

Christmas baublesPant Today would like to wish all our website visitors, residents and businesses in Pant a very Happy Christmas and a successful New Year.

The dark nights are really brightened up by the wonderful displays of lights, Christmas trees, snowmen, icicles and Santas on houses across the village. Communities across the UK seem to compete for the best lit village and the lack of Christmas lights along the main road is more than made up for by the enthusiasm of some Pant householders.

Talking of community spirit, the Cross Guns recently held a Christmas bottle tombola to raise funds for the Guide Dogs Association and thanks to their generosity and that of the locals some £150 has been raised for this good cause.

If you have any news about charity events or anything else of relevance to visitors and residents of Pant, or even if you have photos of your Christmas light displays please do send them in so that we can share them with the world!

Season’s Greetings!
