Marston’s have confirmed that the Cross Guns Inn in Pant, Shropshire is to close for refurbishment.
The village’s only pub will be closed from Monday 1st June and will reopen on Monday 8th June while the pub is redecorated inside. It is also understood that some internal redesign of the building will take place.
According to Marston’s, the refurbishment of the Cross Guns Inn “is hoping to develop the existing kitchen, give them a fresh new look and improve the current garden area.”
Since this post was published, we have received the following statement from Marstons.
“The re-opening of the Cross Guns has been delayed due to a more extensive refurbishment taking place than originally proposed. We are hoping it will re-open towards the end of this week and look forward to welcoming our customers to see our new look.”
