Many of you will know that Pant Memorial Hall is the venue for a wide variety of events in the village and this year sees the launch of a new event.
Local residents are holding the first Musical Instrument Practice session on Sunday, 25 January. The idea behind the session is to give people who are learning to play a musical instrument an opportunity to meet up with others in the same situation.
Because everyone is likely to be learning to play different instruments and be interested in different styles of music, the session will not be a music lesson but an opportunity for anyone to play in front of others and to discuss any issues they have with learning to play.
If the first session proves to be successful then it might develop into a regular event.
Anyone interested in attending is asked to bring their instrument along to Pant Memorial Hall at 11 am. All ages and abilities are welcome and the session is free, although donations towards the cost of hall hire will be welcomed.
