2023 Pant Autumn Bazaar

Pant Autumn Bazaar successful

The annual Pant Autumn Bazaar was back and brought members of the local community together with craft stallholders at Pant Memorial Hall.

The hall welcomed about 100 visitors who came to browse the stalls on offer that ranged from poetry books to locally made wooden items, knitwear and cakes.

The hall committee also ran a popular bric-a-brac stall and tombola to raise welcome funds for the hall’s maintenance and upkeep. Donated books filled a small room at the hall and proved very popular with visitors and a treasure hunt provided two lucky winners with prizes of meals at the Cross Guns Inn in Pant and the White Lion in Llynclys.

Sales from teas and cake helped the fundraising effort while bringing people together for a chat and a catch up.

According to Shaun, Treasurer at the hall, a final figure for funds raised for the hall will be in the order of about £700, which is a great result from everyone who supported it.

Said Shaun: “We would like to thank all the stallholders, visitors, people who donated and volunteers for making our sixth autum bazaar such a success.”
