We are very fortunate to have such a good library service here in Shropshire. And even more fortunate that the library comes to us! The mobile library service calls every alternate Thursday, the stop times seem short but with a bit of organisation it is amazing what you can pick up.
The Pant stop is the Cross Guns car park, between 1045 and 1100 am. The Llanymynech stop is a little earlier, at the Dolphin between 1000am and 1035am. Forthcoming dates are (All Thursdays):
If you aren’t a Shropshire library member, bring some ID and proof of address and you can join there and then. If you are a member, just bring your card. Face coverings are required at the moment, this may change. Librarian Doug and his colleagues are extremely helpful and can find the book you want if it is on board, or order it for next time if it isn’t. The vehicle has a wheelchair access lift so don’t be put off by the steps.
Libraries have now reopened (make sure you return your books before they go overdue) and services are coming back. Let’s use them so we don’t lose them.
