Pant Memorial Hall is hosting an Indoor ‘Car Boot’ Fair on Sunday 10th April to raise funds for the hall. Why not come along and pick up a bargain?
The fair will run for three hours and villagers are being encouraged to come along and see what is on offer and, as all the tables have now been booked, there will be plenty to browse through.
According to Dawn Morgan who lives in the village and is organising the fair for the community, the fair could be a great opportunity for residents in Pant to bag a bargain.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming people on the day and for people to come along and have a look at what’s on offer. You might find something unusual, something you’ve always wanted or some good bargains.”
The Indoor “Car Boot” Fair runs from 9 am to 12 noon on Sunday 10th April 2016.
Added Dawn: “We are glad that the first table was booked by the Co-operative store in the village and the Cross Guns Inn will be providing bacon rolls, with proceeds going to the hall’s funds. Hopefully, this event will be a success not just for the hall but also as a way of bringing villagers together.”
Entry on the day for buyers is free. As well as the bacon sandwiches, hot drinks will be available to buy.
Proceeds from table hire and refreshments go to Pant Memorial Institute, which is a registered charity and maintains the Memorial Hall for the benefit of the whole community.
