If you want to be able to vote for one of the five candidates standing in the North Shropshire Constituency at the forthcoming General Election, then you need to ensure you are registered to vote by the end of today.
Pant Memorial Hall will be a polling station in the 2015 General Election
The General Election takes place on 7th May 2015 and if you are not already registered there is still time. But you only have until midnight to register.
Luckily, you can register online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
As the closing date for nominations to stand for election has now passed, the final list of candidates for Shropshire North is:
• Andrea Christabel Allen (Ukip)
• Graeme Roger Currie (Labour)
• Duncan Kerr (Green Party)
• Owen William Paterson (Conservative)
• Tom Thornhill (Liberal Democrats)
Polling opens at 7am on Thursday 7th May 2015 in Pant Memorial Hall, unless you have a postal vote, which can be completed as soon as you receive it and has to arrive in time to be counted, so if you’re too late to post your ballot paper back, you can hand it in to your local Electoral Registration Office or take it to the polling station by 10pm on polling day.
