Readers of Pant.Today and regulars at the Cross Guns Inn will no doubt be aware that the pub hosts a popular monthly quiz night, with all proceeds going to support the work of charity Guide Dogs.
Last week’s quiz raised £76.50 for the charity, which brings the total raised by villagers and pub locals to well over £2,000 in the last year.
The next quiz – and final one for this year – takes place on Monday 28 December and quizmaster Chris has asked all the regular teams if they would be willing to donate a Secret Santa raffle prize.
All teams are being encouraged to take along a gift wrapped prize which will be donated for a raffle draw, the proceeds of which, as always, will go to Guide Dogs. All the regular teams attending have agreed to participate, so make a date in your diary for the end of the year and come along and enjoy the quiz.
