Pant Chapel launches vegetarian café

Methodist Chapel in Pant, Shropshire

Pant Chapel is launching a regular vegetarian café starting on Thursday 5th March.

The plan is to hold a monthly lunch between 10.30 and 1.30pm in the chapel with a choice of vegetarian meal.

There will be quiet background music and everyone is welcome to visit the chapel for a meal and contemplation.

On the menu for the inaugural café is a pasta bake followed by apple pie and custard priced at £4. There is also a soup and roll option at £2.50.

Speaking about the initiative, Pastor Jacob Molyneux of Pant Chapel said: “We are inviting you to come to our lovely chapel and have your lunch.

It’s a great meeting place for the village and as the only chapel in Pant we want to extend a welcome to all our villagers.

There will be a little live music quietly in the background and there’s a children’s corner for little ones and parents “.

If you haven’t been to Pant Chapel before, this is a great opportunity to visit the building opposite Gyn Lane in Pant.

If you use a wheelchair, entry is via the side entrance from the little car park at the back of the chapel. Please note that the car park is small.
