Works to Pant Memorial Hall start this week.
Work will be underway this week to install new fascia boards and soffits on Pant Memorial Hall as well as replacing the guttering.
The work is part of the ongoing maintenance of the hall to ensure it is kept in good order for the benefit of the people of Pant and those people who hire the hall.
A wide range of people use Pant Memorial Hall in the average year and the hall’s committee are keen to ensure that the hall stays in good repair.
Each year some of the money made by hiring out the hall is set aside to maintain the hall and the grounds. Last year some new lighting was installed inside and outside the hall and the front door area was repainting in a burgundy colour.
The new fascia boards will be maintenance free as they will be replacing wooden boards that need periodic painting. The new plastic boards should mean the hall looks cleaner and tidier without the need to regular repainting.
Whilst the work is carried out there shouldn’t be any disruption to the activities in the hall as it will be carried out during the day.
If you haven’t been inside the hall and would like to find out more or would be interested in hiring the hall for a party, event or class, please contact Sandra on 07913 565 708 to check availability.
