Shropshire’s Health and Wellbeing Board has drafted a Joint 2022-2027 Health and Wellbeing Strategy for the county, which describes priorities based on local evidence and data.
Healthwatch is your health and social care champion. It is an independent statutory body with the power to make sure NHS leaders and other decision makers listen to your feedback and improve standards of care.
This strategy covers areas such as suicide prevention, smoking in pregnancy and air quality, is in draft form and is for everyone. Healthwatch Shropshire is asking local people to give their views on the strategy by completing this short survey. This should take around 10 minutes to complete. You will find it helpful to take a look at the strategy first which is available on the survey page.
Said Jayne Morris, Communications and Engagement Officer at Healthwatch Shropshire:
“As part of our role in enabling people to have their voices heard, Healthwatch Shropshire has been asked by Shropshire Council to promote as widely as possible Shropshire Council’s Health & Wellbeing Board’s draft 2022-2027 strategy.”
The survey runs for nine weeks to the 8th November 2021 and the findings from the survey will be published on Shropshire Council’s website, and the new strategy will be published early next year.
This final strategy will be based on feedback received from Shropshire people and stakeholders. So your voice really does count.
