More of A483 set to be 30 mph

At the September meeting of Llanymynech & Pant Parish Council, it was reported that National Highways are proposing to reduce the speed limit on the A483 between Pant and Llanymynech.

Following the introduction of a 20 mph zone in Llanymynech in Wales, National Highways are proposing to reduce the currently 40 mph section south of Pant to 30 mph.

This will, it is hoped, reduce the incidence of people breaking quickly as they approach the 20 mph limit in Wales and also quickly accelerating from the 20 mph to 40 mph towards Pant.

We will update this article when we get more information.
