Pant Memorial Hall will be hosting a Remembrance Service on Saturday 13 November. The Committee has been arranging a service for many years and in a first for the hall, this year’s service will be non-religious.
Pant Memorial Institute – the registered charity that runs the hall for the benefit of the whole community – was set up as a memorial after the horrors of the First World War and since that time has been a focus for the community.
For many years it has held a remembrance Service in the hall and more recently has commissioned the Armistice Artwork that is attached to the wall near the entrance to the hall.
This year’s service which will feature a number of readings is open to all and will be followed by hot drinks and biscuits. 7pm start.
