If you pop into the Co-operative store in the village over the next few days, you might need to do a double take to recognise one of the employees there.
Sharon who works in the Post Office and also within the store has had her hair shaved to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Thanks to Sharon ‘braving the shave’ she has raised over £400 for Macmillan as friends, colleagues at the Co-operative and villagers have all sponsored her to have her hair shaved off.
Sharon said she took part in brave the shave in memory of her dad who died several years ago. She added: “Macmillan where so supportive to all the family. I want to ensure that other families continue to have this type of support in the future. Once I got used to seeing myself with a shaved head it was quite liberating.”
Colleagues and well-wishers were present to see Sharon bravely loose her hair for charity. You can find out more about Macmillan Cancer Support on their website and you can help Sharon raise even more funds by visiting here donation page https://bravetheshave.org.uk/shavers/sharon-tugby
