Plans for Pant’s first Autumn Bazaar are now well underway as the event – in a few weeks’ time – draws near.
The first Autumn Bazaar being held on 3 October in the village’s Memorial Hall is being organised to bring locals together and it is hoped people from the surrounding area will come along too.
All the available stalls have now been allocated and local businesses and others have come together to provide a wide selection of attractions including unique art and handicrafts, face-painting, local food, hand-made baskets, greetings cards and complementary therapies.
The funds raised from the games, teas, coffees and cakes, will go towards the upkeep of the Memorial Hall, which is a registered charity and a valuable asset for the community.
Organised by the committee at the Memorial Hall, the Bazaar will be an ideal opportunity for villagers to get together, have a chat and a cuppa, while looking at possible early gift ideas for Christmas.
The committee are also keen that more people visit the hall to see the facilities it can offer. The front of the hall has recently seen the addition of fresh new chippings and soon will see some flower baskets to help brighten up the village.
If the first Pant Autumn Bazaar is successful, residents are hoping to make it a regular event to help foster the community spirit of Pant and the surrounding area.
